Restaurant Opening: Caputo Trattoria

There’s a new restaurant in town - Caputo Trattoria has opened at Foxwoods Resort Casino. Part of the Craveable Hospitality Group, the new Italian restaurant takes culinary cues from the country’s diverse styles using classic cooking techniques mixed with fresh interpretations of the Mediterranean style. The menu highlights traditional comfort food, combined with the various regional forms of Italian cuisine for a diverse menu that has something for everyone.

We were lucky enough to attend the opening of the newest restaurant at Foxwoods and were delighted to come across some innovative and incredibly delicious dishes. We highly recommend the house specialty (and our personal favorite) Caputo Pie - chicken parmesan served pizza-style with marinara, mozzarella, and chili-infused hot honey. Yes, you read that right - served pizza style!

Not only was this a creative way of reinventing a crowd-favorite dish, but it was also the stand out in our eyes. Other menu highlights include Tableside Cacio e Pepe, Lobster Fra Diavolo, and Baked Clams Oreganatta.

The full-service bar has an impressive wine selection from sister restaurant Prime Steakhouse and features seasonal cocktails such as a rotating Limoncello flight, and classic Italian cocktails with unique twists.

Everything in Caputo Trattoria is thoughtfully crafted, seasonal, fresh and creatively presented. We highly recommend a trip to dine at the newly opened restaurant! Bookings are advisable.
