Brunch Club: Vinted Wine Bar

We know things have been quiet on the Brunch Club front so far in 2018 - but don't worry we have been brunching! A little while back went to Vinted on a rainy Sunday morning and enjoyed a pretty great brunch.

Vinted is a charming little wine bar located in Blue Back Square, West Hartford. If you’re into your wine, this is definitely a must-visit place for you (at any time of the day!). Describing itself as Modern American Tapas, this is a great brunch location for those brunch companions that like to order all the things and share (have you seen a theme to our brunch style yet?).

Loaded Bloody Mary | Brunch Club | Vinted Wine Bar

We started off brunch with a round of cocktails - a loaded Bloody Mary, a Bellini & a Ruby Ruby. All well-crafted and the perfect start to a relaxing Sunday. Choosing what to eat wasn't an easy task, and we all agree that a return trip for the other half of the menu is definitely in our near future.

What we ordered:

Federal Risotto Balls - served with truffle butter and parmesan (Not pictured we devoured them)

Asparagus Bagutta - Fried egg, charred asparagus, truffle butter, parmesan, crispy shallot

Huevos Rancheros - fried egg, corn tortillas, black beans, smashed avocado, pico de gallo, cheese, cilantro

Buttermilk Crusted Chicken - waffles, mustard butter, maple syrup, crispy bacon (also not pictured - sorry!)

Lobster Benedict - poached eggs, potato asparagus sautee, Sambal hollandaise, chive salt, english muffin

Home Fries - paprika, caramelized onion, garlic

Sticky Toffee Pudding - vanilla gelato, blood orange, caramel, orange-chamomile glaze

We all loved that each item felt farmiliar but with a twist, no one likes a boring brunch. We like coffee with our dessert so we ordered a round of Espresso Martini’s - this was the perfect brunch escapade!

Also - its half price bottles of wine on Sundays and Mondays. The perfect addition to your brunch plans, just sayin’. It might not be a bad idea to start with brunch and just see where the day takes you, either way, there's lots to enjoy at Vinted.
